WCSO Alerts: Alleged drug possession charges, credit card fraud reported

Walton County Sheriff’s Office reported the following community alerts for Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2017. Please note an arrest or charge does not constitute a conviction.

ZONE 1

Arrest- David Lamar Jarrett was arrested in the area of Cannon Farm Road and Oak Valley Drive for Possession of Schedule II Drugs, Possession of Schedule IV Drugs, and Drugs not in the Original Container following a traffic stop. He remains in Walton County Detention Center pending  $10,500 bond.

Suspicious Vehicle- Deputies responded to the area of Cannon Farm Road in reference to a motorist driving a dirt bike in the roadway. Deputies made contact with motorist, and they were advised to stay out of the roadway. Everything okay.

ZONE 4

Vehicle Accident- Deputies responded to a single vehicle accident in the area of Highway 78 and Mount Vernon Road. No injuries. Georgia State Patrol handled the scene of the accident.

Arrest- Anita Wilson was arrested in the area of Highway 11 and the Barrow County Line for Driving While License Suspended and Giving False Information following a traffic stop.

ZONE 5

Vehicle Accident- Deputies responded to a single vehicle accident in the area of Albert Jones Road. No injuries. Walton County Sheriff’s Office handled the scene of the accident.

Fraud- Deputies responded to a residence in the area of Greenridge Lane to take a report of an unknown individual making fraudulent charges on complainant’s credit card.
