Saying goodbye to the most wonderful, beautiful, Godly, and precious woman is the hardest thing that our family has ever done. She was the one who taught her children all of their “firsts”, whom started out as our mother, but then became our best friend. She was our biggest cheerleader, yet our toughest coach. From vacations to movies or just hanging out, these memories will always be the best parts of our lives. Sandra was the woman who loved her family no matter what… unconditionally. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, friend, mentor, and confidant. For seven years, she fought the good fight with grace, strength and dignity. Her positive attitude inspired so many. She had cancer, but she didn’t let it get the best of her. She will take on a new role as our Guardian Angel, rejoicing in Heaven with our Dad. We love you always & forever; until we see you again.
Sandra is preceded in death by her loving husband of 50 years, Reginald Walker & brothers: Joe Vance & Butch Vance. She is survived by daughters & sons-in-law: Lisa & Ken Humphries, Loganville; Michelle & Russell Adams, Snellville; son & daughter-in-law: Chad & Chandra Walker, Loganville; sister-in-law: Anne Vance, Lynchburg; grandchildren: Janna Humphries, Logan Adams, Aidan Adams, Kileigh Walker & Cody Walker; & several nieces & nephews.
