She is survived by her husband, John McBee, 82; her brother, Dean Fleming of Tuscaloosa, AL, and others; and her children: Daughter, Judy Mattox; Son, Doug McBee and Daughter-In Law, Deborah McBee; Daughter, Patty McBee; Son, Ronnie McBee; Daughter, Peggy Clouse and Son-In-Law, Dean Clouse; Daughter, Debbie Henderson and Son-In-Law, Preston Henderson; Daughter, Lynn Block and Son-In-Law, Ernie Block; Son, Wayne McBee and Daughter-In-Law, Christy McBee. Grandchildren Matt Nelson, Krystal Clark (preceeded); Joshua McBee; Bobbie, Ashley and Andrew Webb; Jami Kennedy; Barbara Mayeske; Nicole Moore; Kevin, Andy, Jody, Eric, and Johnny Clouse; Brandy, Durand and “Little” Preston Henderson; Adam Block; Regina Baldwin, Caitlin and Cassie McBee; and Blake Sosbee. Great Grand-Children Rachel and Rebecca Clark; Madison, Chloe, Cooper,and Reese Kennedy; Rylan, Jay and Mason Webb; Abigail, Peyton and Megan Mayeske; Ellie and Ayla Moore; Brennan, Cane, Tanner, Nick, Austin, Logan, Dylan and Gabe Clouse; Katie, Olivia, Camryn, Makayla, Savannah, and Cheyenne Clouse; Evan and “Little” Durand Henderson; Kaylee, Maci and Matthew Grant Baldwin and Great Great Grand-Children Mason and Morgan Clouse.

Carolyn “Irene” and John were married on May 29, 1953 and raised 8 children, 22 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren; who were the most important part of her life. She was a selfless and loving woman who will be deeply missed by her family, friends and all that knew her.

The Funeral Service to Honor and Celebrate the Life of Carolyn Irene McBee will be held on Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at 4:00 PM at Tom M. Wages Snellville Chapel. Burial will follow at Eternal Hills Memory Gardens, Snellville, GA. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 10, 2017 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home. For those who desire to make memorial donations in lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude’s Place, Memphis, TN, 38105.
