Walton County football teams that are playoff bound

These are last Friday night football scores for Walton County teams as some are playoff bound this Friday, courtesy of Maxpreps.com

Loganville High School’s football team won its last game of the regular season, beating Johnson 41-6. The Loganville Red Devils have home field advantage Friday in the first playoff game against Riverwood. The Monroe Area High School football team did not manage a win against Franklin County on Friday losing to the Lions Friday 24-14. However, the MAHS Hurricanes are still headed to the playoffs with an away game Friday at Calhoun. Click or tap here for the Maxpreps Bracket for the state AAA playoff lineup.

The Walnut Grove Warriors football team won it last game of the regular season, beating Cedar Shoals at home 25-18, sending the Warriors to the playoffs for the first time in the school’s history. The Social Circle High School football finished the season on a high, shutting out Putnam County at home on Nov. 4 with a score of 25-0. The Redskins, however, will have to wait until next year for any playoff hopes. Loganville Christian Academy’s season also is over after losing two week’s ago in the first round of the playoffs.
