The Omega Trail finishes this weekend

screen-shot-2016-10-25-at-2-01-16-pmThe Omega Trail at Summit Baptist Church in Loganville is an annual Halloween event that gives participants a scary look at a future that could be quite horrific. It is a 45-minute walking trail that shows depictions of “everyday life to scenes of chaos, empty graveyards and the battle of good versus evil in scenes of modern day depictions of what life may look like if Jesus returned.”

The Halloween adaptation, with a cast of more than a 100, aims to show how leading a good life does not necessarily guarantee a happy ending, but rather it is a relationship with Jesus that is the way. According to the website, the first Omega Trail was in 2005 and every year efforts are made to improve on it. The trail draws more than 1,200 visitors each year from the local area as well as further afield.

Some sights are intense and the trail is not recommended for children under the age of 12.
