The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm warning from 7:49 p.m. through 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 2, 2016. The severe thunderstorm warning is for east central Walton County, northwestern Morgan County and central Oconee County.
The storm was located over Bostwick, 10 miles east of Monroe, moving northeast at 3 mph. Expect 60 mph winds – causing possible damage to roofs, siding and trees. Other locations in the party of the storm are Watkinsville, north High Shoals, Bostwick, Good Hope, Bishop, Farmington and Eastville.
