Loganville is one of the safest cities in Georgia according to a new 2016 study by home security and financial website CreditDonkey. Loganville came in at No. 31 on the list. Daniela Baker, Content Manager at CreditDonkey, gave the data that was analyzed to come up with the rankings.
“They scored each city based on violent and property crime data to come up with a composite score. That score factors in population size, murders, rapes, robberies, aggravated assaults, burglaries, larcenies, motor vehicle thefts and arsons,” Baker said.
In breaking down the rankings, Credit-Donkey gave the following information about Loganville.
- Violent crime per 1,000: 0.6
- Robbery per 1,000: 0.1
- Property crime per 1,000: 22.3
- Burglary per 1,000: 2.7
- CreditDonkey safety score: 6.4
Just under 11,000 people live in Loganville, which sits about 35 miles east of Atlanta. The city prides itself on being a place where people matter, and that’s especially true where safety is concerned. Loganville’s chief of police wants citizens to know that their protection is of the utmost importance to officers and warding off crime is central to the department’s mission.
