After flirting with a $2 gas price for the last few days, Loganville is now offering gas as low as $1.95 a gallon.
The price has been dropping below $2 countrywide, but Loganville and Monroe have managed to stay just above – that is until now.
According to gasbuddy.com, the CITGO gas station at 704 Athens Highway and Langley Road and the Chevron at 3334 Langley Road and Athens Highway are selling gas for $1.95. Some others are selling gas at $1.98 and $1.99 a gallon. Monroe, however, was still just flirting with the $2 a gallon price as of 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The cheapest gas in Monroe, as per gasbuddy.com, was $2.01 per gallon at Chestnut Cupboard at 1135 E Church Street and Chestnut Lane. Routinely check with gasbuddy.com as more gas stations are likely to drop below the $2 mark.
