First Annual Wing Fling in Loganville dubbed a resounding success

The first Annual Wing Fling in Loganville is now in the history books and by all accounts it earned itself a worthy spot. A collaboration between the Loganville Rotary Club and the City of Loganville in partnership with the Walton County and Greater Eastside Chambers of Commerce, the Wing Fling was able to bring in more than $16,000 for local charities according to organizers.

In fact, the event was so successful that some vendors ran out of wings and had to send out for replacements. According to Rotarian John Sauers, organizers also ran out of tickets and had to improvise before the day was out.

Proud winners of the best wings around were:

The Loganville Rotary Club will be handing out checks to some local charities at next week’s meeting. All that is left now is for organizers to get some much needed rest before beginning plans for the 2nd Annual Loganville Wing Fling in 2016.
