Meet the next generation of young farmers at a LHS showing of ‘Farmland’

Loganville High School’s Future Farmers of America is offering the public an opportunity to meet the next generation of young farmers with a public showing of the movie, Farmland.”

According to the preview, Farmland takes an intimate look at the lives of farmers and ranchers in their 20s, all now responsible for running their farming businesses. The film gives a first-hand glimpse into the lives of these young farmers and ranchers and how they go about their daily lives. It explores the high-risk/high reward way of life that has been passed down through the generations.

The movie will be shown at 6 p.m. on Feb. 23, 2015 at at LHS, 100 Trident Trail, Loganville. There is no cost. Click on this link for more information about the making of the film, “Farmland” by director James Moll.
