Prayer Vigil culminates in Loganville United Festival

The local church communities in Loganville are ending a more than month-long prayer event for the community in a Loganville United Festival on the Town Green tonight.

Beginning at 4 p.m. and continuing until 9 p.m. tonight,  the community is invited to bring lawn chairs and enjoy music from several local Christian artists and bands. There also will be inflatables and face painting for the children as well as food vendors and booths from local churches and ministries.

This is a culmination of 40 days of prayer that began on June 17. Local churches mobilized 153 prayer teams to pray for and visit all the household in the city and youth groups fanned out and served those in need from July 14 – 18. Last night at 8 p.m., a 24-hour Vigil began in Loganville at the Loganville First Methodist Church on Main Street, next to the Town Green. This will end at 8 p.m. tonight. The community is welcome to stop by at anytime before then and join the Prayer Gathering in the Sanctuary at Loganville FUMC.
