It is finally spring and with it comes the Grand Opening of ALDI in Loganville.
Last summer, Loganville City Manager announced that the company had decided to locate on the Gwinnett County side of the city. By March this year, the store was ready to being hiring and it is now set to begin trading.
At 9 a.m. on Thursday (May 8) the store will open its doors to the public. For those who will be going with hopes of scoring some of the Grand Opening specials, the store is located at 370 Athens Highway in Loganville. According to ALDI’s website, customers OF ALDI can expect “high quality exclusive brands, up to 50 percent savings over national brands, lowest prices on things you buy the most.” The company backs its private label products with an exclusive double guarantee – if a customer is not satisfied, ALDI will refund the money as well as replace the item. One of the ways the company claims to keep prices low is by making up money elsewhere, such as not accepting credit cards and operating a cart-deposit system that requires customers paying a dollar for a shopping cart.
