At 2 a.m. on Sunday, March. 9, 2014, daylight saving time officially begins for most states in the United States. That is the time to set the clock forward one hour to go back onto Daylight Saving Time in Georgia.

According to the website timeanddate.com, most of the U.S., including Georgia, will maintain this time until 2 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 2, 2014, when the time will “fall back” once again to Eastern Standard Time.

In the U.S., Hawaii, most of Arizona, Midway Atoll, Wake Island and a small region of Alaska do not participate in daylight saving time – the rest of the country does.
